On July 13th, we met with the African Development Bank (AfDB) at the KAIST Munji Campus.

We were honored to welcome Amb. Edmond WEGA, Executive Director representing Korea, Canada, China, Turkey, and Kuwait, along with Prof. Kevin URAMA, Chief Economist and Vice President for Economic Governance and Knowledge Management from AfDB, as delegates. During their visit, they could look around the Global Garden, a symbol of GDI. Also, they had time to meet African students in our graduate school.

AfDB delegations moved to the KAIST Main Campus and met Vice President at KAIST. Afterward, meeting delegations had a meeting under the agenda' KAIST-AfDB & KAIST African Cooperation-Case of the KAIST African Global Collaboration and Scholarship Program.' We discussed plans a lot. It was a valuable and productive time for both parties.

As many of you may know that we have been actively supporting education through the AfDB scholarship program. This contributes significantly to the advancement of African countries. Therefore, we eagerly look forward to further collaboration between GDI and AfDB in the future.
