Cultural trip

As an extension of our program curriculum, ITTP provides opportunities to experience Korean traditions directly and indirectly. Students visit places where they can feel the depth and beauty of our culture. They can also check the knowledge about Korean history and culture they have learned in class and actually try various traditional activities.

For the last few years, students have visited the Pottery Village, Hanok Village in Jeonju, Hahoe folk village in Andong.

Through these trips, students can improve their understanding of Korean culture and gain Korean-friendly prospective as well as raising intimacy among students.

Traditional holiday events

Various cultural events are held to provide chances to feel Korea’s unique cultural customs and taste Korean cuisines. ITTP students, family and staffs gather to celebrate traditional holidays such as Jeongwol Daeboreum, Sambok, Chuseok and Winter solstice.

Along with these events, we also enjoy other events like Teacher’s day and Year-end party etc. Sometimes, students cook their own traditional food and share it with everyone. Through these gathering and cross-cultural experiences, students will have the opportunity to experience not only Korea’s tradition but also the culture of their colleagues’ countries which will contribute to mutual understanding and cooperation.
