On 29th July, we had the 2022 KAIST ITTP & INNOPOLIS global industrial collaboration exchange program.

Blue Signal is a smart city solution start-up. Blue Signal's "Predictive Driving" technology analyses data from various sources, such as real-time traffic, vehicles, and road infrastructure, to predict future traffic conditions. It is based on a unique Machine Learning and AI engine. The engine is based on big data analysis with traffic engineering elements, which can generate appropriate solutions for reducing traffic congestion and accidents. Additionally, it is highly accurate. Especially, BlueSignal collaborated with the city of Hamburg, Daejeon, Daegu, and Sejong. BlueSignal CEO presented creative technology and solutions.

Sherpa space is a smart farm start-up. Based on its competent patents, the company has won the innovation award of CES 2020, got the certificate of new technology, and attracted investment. It has developed the precise, smart farm solution based on AI and Sherpa Light, the special light for plant cultivation. Its core value is to enhance the plants' value by increasing productivity and strengthening active components. CEO of Sherpa Space illustrated its unique technology and solution, such as Data mining Lab, Growth Recipe DB, Integrated Platform, Monitoring/Prediction/Diagnostic Solution, Tunable Light Wavelength Editing Solution, and so on.

The originality and creativity of its technology caught students' attention, leading to a vibrant discussion after the seminar. We hope this opportunity leads to ITTP students' new trials on smart farm projects!
