From June 17th to 18th, ITTP students visited Gyeongu City, the capital of Silla for 1000 years.

We vistied Daereungwon, the park of royal tombs. Students were amazed with the uniqueness of the royal tombs. And we moved to Cheomseongdae, the oldest observatory in Asia. It was built during the reign of Queen Seondeok of Silla. It is the remaining witness in Silla history. The last destination was Donggung and Wolji. It is undoubtedly the best place to visit at night. Donggung was the royal palace for Silla princes and Wolji was a pond which seems like the sea.

We visited Bulguksa Temple. It was the first listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with Seoul Jongmyo Shrine and Hapcheon Haeinsa Temple in 1995. Additionally, we visited Seokguram Grotto. Along with Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto was one of Korea's first UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1995. Lastly, We visited the Gyeongju National Museum. We could learn about the history of Silla's. We saw many kinds of brilliant Silla golden crowns with our eyes!

We had amazing day with our students and students’ family. We learned and enjoyed a lot through the trip. Definitely it was unforgettable cultrual trip for everyone :)
