Collaboration & Networking


 

1) Overview


KAIST ITTP encourages all students to contribute to their own country’s ICT development through making a network with the Korean ICT companies and institutes. Collaboration means, all kinds of activities bridging and cooperating between student’s country and the Korean ICT companies, institutes, governments. Networking means, all kinds of activities on/off-line connecting with the Korean ICT specialists via various seminars, conferences and other events. And also all kinds of activities enhancing the human network are included in “Networking” The excellent collaboration reports will nourish your next steps in the academic or professional career. They can give good references for your experiences and working in Korea. Your hardworking on the collaboration reports will reward you with various opportunities.  

 

 

 

 

2) Project Reporting

 

 

   ① Collaboration & Networking report needs to be submitted to ITTP Office via email (lee.kyungok@kaist.ac.kr)

 

 

    ② The report should contain information in details as follows; Background, Objective, Period & corresponding details, Your involvements, Outcomes & future plans and proof document (Certificate, Letter of Appreciation, Exchanged Email , Photos)

 

 

    ③ Students can download the form of Collaboration & Networking report on ITTP web-site

 

 

 

3) Support

 

 

 

      ITTP awards the Collaboration sprit with prize and also provides an opportunity to give a presentation at the forum and ITTP events to excellent students who did great Collaboration and Networking activities. Awards are held twice a year as a result of evaluating all the Collaboration and Networking reports. Documentation will be counted in number of reporting and the sincerity of the content. You will be prioritized in the consideration of inviting a speaker in our various international forums. Your expertise will be highly regarded through those often invitations.

 

 

 

    (As our senior students already know, we usually invite the speakers or researchers from our current students and alumni abroad. ITTP office mainly check the outcomes of networking or collaboration reports for the invitations.)
